[15] Finished drawing for a roof plan for a group of prison buildings for Edinburgh Bridewell, 1791, unexecuted

Aspect

Roof plan comprising a central rectangular block connected to a large D-shaped building with three pitched roofs along the flat side, with flanking blocks connected by narrow links. Each corner edge appears to have bartizans and both the central building and the two flanking blocks appear to have a series of light shafts arranged in segments
