Preliminary design for two funerary monuments, ND
Aspect
Rough elevation of two funerary monuments set within draped pointed arcades, supported by fluted and banded Doric columns. The left-hand monument has a double inscription panel surmounted by a base with an inscription panel, surmounted by busts, a sarcophagus, and putti flanking an urn, and the whole is set against a pyramid in relief ornamented with a portrait medallion and urns. The right-hand monument has a base ornamented with inscription panels, Greek key, ram masks and swags, surmounted by columns with heraldic emblems and supporting busts, flanking a cinerary urn and terms supporting a busts and military(?) trophies, and the whole is set against a pyramid in relief surmounted by an urn
