Pen, sepia, pink, raw umber and light blue washes, shaded, multi-ruled border with gold, Prussian blue and black washes (see note to [SM 68/5/6]) on thick wove paper (290 x 400)

Notes

Bélanger offers an alternative method of lighting the end rooms (which in [SM 68/5/5] were lit by fanlight-like lunettes over a door) with top-lighting in the form of a metal and glass conical lantern similar to that shown on [SM 68/5/6].
