Preliminary design for door furniture, ND
Aspect
Rough elevation of a door knob ornamented with an enclosed rosette and bands of beading, supported by a bask, ribbons, and an oval medallion depicting Janus covering the key hole. This is flanked by snibs(?), connected by festoons, and ornamented with rosettes, beading and surmounted by urns. There are rough pencil additions to the design showing further festoons, a fan and a winged horse
