A rectilinear base supports an urn ornamented with a medallion which is flanked by two figures bearing garlands, which support the clock. The circular dial is flanked by swags, medallions, and other ornamentation and is surmounted by sphinxes and a finial Right: Elevation of a clock supported by a pedestal and set within an urn. A pedestal ornamented by two sphinxes supports an urn with two curved handles which is ornamented by portions of foliage and guilloche. The circular dial is set within the vase’s fluted body
