Preliminary design for an urn, ND

Aspect

Rough elevation of a cup-shaped urn with two twisted handles culminating in sphinxes and with a lid surmounted by foliage. The shoulders are marked by masks, a band of bellflowers enclosing rosettes and a figurative medallion. The urn surmounts lion’s paw feet and the whole is mounted on a fluted pedestal supported by sphinxes
