Notes

The benches, arranged in 11 tiers, are only 9 inches deep with 12 inches between them. Though a full-size drawing ([D5/9/8]) shows the same meagre 9 inches from back to front for a bench, another drawing ([SM D5/5/21]) shows ten tiers of benches, each 12 inches deep with 15 inches of leg-room.
