Notes

The 1/5 inch to 1 ft scale suggests that this is an early design, made in 1806 (see note on [SM D5/3/19]). The demonstration area to the north is circular with half of it projecting into the oval form of the theatre which measures 41 by 31 feet. Calculations give a 362 feet run for seating plus 64 feet in the gallery.
