Preliminary design for a chimneypiece and chimneypiece styles, ND
Aspect
Centre - Elevation of a chimneypiece with tapering pilaster styles ornamented with masks and drop foliage. The capitals contain rosettes and the frieze contains a central inscribed tablet with an apron of swags. The tablet is flanked by swags and rosettes and the mantel is ornamented by a band of dentils
Left- Elevation of a tapering Ionic pilaster style, which is ornamented by scales, rosette roundels and swags
Right a - Elevation of a scrolled, pilaster style, which is ornamented with swags
Right b - Elevation of a tapering pilaster style ornamented with swags and fluting
