Design for a chimneypiece, ND
Aspect
Elevation of a chimneypiece with Doric pilaster styles, which are embellished with pedestals ornamented with paterae, festoons and ram masks and support draped figures with musical instruments. The capitals contain lion masks set within rosette roundels and surrounded by calyx. The frieze is ornamented with a band of fluting and a figurative tablet. The matel is ornamented with a band of dentils and rope moulding
