[1] Design for a chimneypiece, ND
Aspect
Elevation of a chimneypiece with fluted styles, which form scrolls and terminate in acanthus leaves. The chimney lining is ornamented with a band of dentils and a band of laurel leaf tips. The capitals contain paterae and the frieze contains a central tablet ornamented with an anthemion flanked by arabesques and rosettes. The tablet is flanked by a band of fluting and a further band ornamented with urns flanked by festoons and peltoid shields. The matel is ornamented with bands of dentil and laurel leaf tips
