Design for a chimneypiece, ND
Aspect
Elevation of a chimneypiece with Doric pilaster styles ornamented with ribbons, which suspend rosettes and foliage. The chimneypiece lining is ornamented with a band of egg and dart mould and the capitals contain rosettes. The frieze contains a blank tablet, and this is flanked by rosettes and festoons. Above the frieze there is a band of acanthus leaves and the mantel is ornamented with a band of laurel leaf tips
