Purpose
[4] Design for the window wall for the drawing room, 1770-73, executed with minor alterations
Aspect
Elevation of a wall with four windows, above a dado with an apron of festoons, and below a frieze of anthemia and urns. Between the windows are tripartite pier glasses incorporating medallions and candle branches. The central pier glass is above a pier table with urns underneath, and the outer pier glasses are above consoles. The outer bays of the wall contain girandoles incorporating medallions and lotus capital pilasters
