Notes

Floor heights vary from those shown on [SM D5/3/19] (to which this drawing is related) and one section varies the widths between piers producing larger apses, a rhythm that was not adopted. Both drawings show, for example, lantern roofs that are conical or (over the apses) half-conical though [SM D5/3/27] (recto and verso) has rough proposals for a clerestory that, if carried out, would have radically altered the proportions and lighting of the museum. In any case, the half-conical lanterns over the apsidal ends were not executed.
