Notes
Neill's survey plan of the second floor shows the different bedrooms and closet arrangements of the two houses that presumably were to be retained as quarters for the Secretary and Keeper. Ten window openings are shown for the front and back elevations when there would have been only six; the back elevation of No.42 projects a few feet more than No.41.
