The drawing, with thumb prints and splashes of paint, seems to have been used on site and so the design was presumably executed.
A particular problem with re-using the five painted panels with quadrant corners was that two measured 12 .. 10½ wide while the others were 7 feet 7 inches wide and there was a good deal of space in between them. Half, single and double roundels, triangles and fan shapes, with an umbrella (or double fan shell) motif in the centre pierced for ventilation, together with floral wreaths and frames deftly married the re-used paintings with their new location.
