Dance's usual fee was 5 per cent of the building cost which would make it £4,121.10s, though he did, not of course, design the whole of the building but only the 'architectural' elements.

The section shows the columns supporting the balconies; the upper tier having columns with slender tree trunk shafts supporting leafy capitals and spandrels - all to be gilded.
