Preliminary design for a rustic building, ND
Aspect
Above- Elevation of a single-storey building with a pitched, thatched roof and a circular, rustic, Doric portico, with a conical roof which supports a weathervane. Above the central entrance there is a Diocletian window, set within the tympanum, and the portico is flanked by cross-shaped windows. The building has a frieze of rosettes
Below- Plan of a circular building, set behind semi-circular colonnades and flanked by single-bay wings
