Notes
The building is shown as finally completed with a central attic storey replacing the earlier pediment and thus reverting to something like the blocky simplicity of Dance's earlier design ([SM D4/4/1]). However, some details of the lower part are not as finally executed, for example, the Keeper's House is shown with the square-headed entrance of the 1769 contract drawing ([SM D4/4/9]) instead of the semicircular-headed door of the final scheme (cf. [SM D4/4/17]).
