Notes
The chancel design corresponds to [SM D2/12/13] except that the monument is the executed on shown on [D2/12/15]. The octagon nave has a clerestory, the clerestory windows having a glazing pattern of concentric arches and yellow, green, and red glass (now replaced).
David Yeomans (correspondence, 2 August 2001) commented that 'the truss with the steep pitched principals will be on the centre line of the church so that the principals follow the slope of the pyramid. The trusses with the shallower slope will be supported on the line of the nave walls. The "slope" on that line is less.'
