[6] Finished drawing for the principal front of a house, 1788, executed to a variant design
Aspect
Elevation of a two-storey house with flanking single-storey wings over a half-sunk basement. There is a central perron staircase to the principal entrance on the piano nobile with a Diocletian window within the staircase platform at basement level. The entrance comprises a tripartite opening within a relieving arch with a fanlight all within a two-storey pedimented portico. The two flanking wings terminate in pavilions with tripartite windows within classical entablatures (verso) with a small preliminary design of a detail (in pencil)
