[2] Record drawing for a ceiling, ND
Aspect
Plan of a tripartite, rectangular ceiling containing a central square compartment, and this is ornamented with a figurative roundel set within a circular fan embellished with calyx. Beyond this there is a band of Vitruvian scroll enclosing anthemia, and festoons and wreaths of husks which suspended figurative tablets, drop calyx, and paterae. The central compartment is flanked by strip compartments ornamented with rosette roundels, and these are set within lozenges and an overlapping band of circles with calyx set in between
