[24] Unfinished design for a chimneypiece for the library, 1772, possibly executed
Aspect
Elevation of a chimneypiece with the lining bordered with egg and dart mouldings. The Doric pilaster stiles are ornamented with cascading wreaths enclosing rosettes, and drop calyx. The capitals contain patera and the frieze is ornamented with ram masks bearing festoons of calyx, flanked by rosettes. The mantel is ornamented with a band of laurel leaf tips
