[7] Design for a chimneypiece for the hall, 1772, as executed
Aspect
Elevation of a chimneypiece with the lining bordered with bands of laurel leaf tips and egg and dart moulding. The stiles are formed with fluted scrolls, and the capitals contain urns. The frieze is ornamented with ram masks bearing festoons of husks, flanked by rosettes, and there is a central tablet containing an urn ornamented with calyx, anthemia and a band of guilloche. Above the frieze there is a band of dentils
