[46] Design for lock furniture, c1774, possibly executed
Aspect
Elevation of lock furniture, with a door handle ornamented with a rosette set within a fan and a circular band of Vitruvian scroll. The handle is surrounded by a circular reed band, and this links to a further reed band enclosing a rosette, and a band enclosing an acanthus leaf supporting a rosette and anthemion, which form the lock covering. The lock is flanked by festoons and rosettes set within wreaths
