Purpose
[22] Design for the principal front of a building, c1767, unexecuted
Aspect
Elevation of a two-and-a-half-storey, thirteen-bay building, with a part-sunk basement, and a central entrance set behind a five-bay, stepped Corinthian portico, with a pediment surmounted by acroteria. The portico is flanked by three-bays, with quarter-height windows in the basement storey. On the ground storey there is a triple string course and full-height windows, and on the first storey there is a double string course and half-height windows. The building terminates in two-and-a-half storey pavilions, with pyramidal roofs, Venetian windows on the ground storey, half-height windows on the first storey, and quarter-height windows in the upper register
