[3] Preliminary design for the north front of a house, c1784, unexecuted
Aspect
Elevation of the north front of a three-storey, seven-bay building, surmounted by a balustrade. There is a central entrance at the ground-storey level, and this is flanked by niches. At the first-storey level there is a balustraded, aedicule window, set within a relieving arch, with a roundel above. All this is flanked by Ionic pilasters, and surmounted by statuary. There is a string course of fluting and roundels
