[44] Design for an entrance gateway, c1786, possibly executed
Aspect
Elevation of an entrance gateway with a wrought iron gate, ornamented with a half-patera, enclosed within a fan. The flanking piers are substantial, and are surmounted by recumbent sphinxes. Beyond this there are walls surmounted by wrought iron quarter-fans and pointed posts
