[32] Finished drawing for the east front of a house, c1790, as executed

Aspect

Elevation of the east front of a two-storey, three-bay building, with a hipped roof and a part-sunken basement. The central bay is projecting, and contains a balustraded, aedicule window, with an oculus flanked by festoons above, and all this is set within a relieving arch. There are full-height windows at the ground-storey level, and at the first-storey level there is a string course of guilloche, with half-height windows above. The building has a frieze of fluting, and there is a stepped Tuscan portico to the north, and a stepped Ionic portico to the south
