Preliminary design and designs for White's Chocolate House, 1787, unexecuted (9)
Notes
King suggests that SM Adam volume 10/33 may form an alternative preliminary design for White’s Chocolate House, however it is perhaps more likely a variation design for the Trades House, Glasgow.
SM Adam volumes 36/10-18 are incorrectly assigned to White’s Chocolate House by later inscriptions made by William Adam. They are in fact part of a scheme for the Earl of Findlater’s townhouse, for which the intended location is unknown.
