[15] Finished drawing for the north front of a house, c1783, unexecuted
Aspect
Elevation of a two-and-a-half-storey, five-bay house, with a part-sunken basement, and the central three bays projecting. The centre bay forms a two-and-a-half-storey relieving arch, and contains tripartite windows at the basement-, ground- and first-storey levels, with a Diocletian window in the upper register. At the first-storey level there is a plain string course with rosette capitals, in the upper register there is a further string course of Vitruvian scroll, and with Tuscan eaves
