Why this unremarkable Attic base was depicted in the sheet’s bottom corner is unclear. The rather archaic perspectival manner of representation is paralleled in certain depictions of bases found later in the codex (e.g. Fols 77r/Ashby 131 and 78r/Ashby 132).
