At a meeting of architects and surveyors, held at the Freemason's Tavern, January 8th, 1834, the following resolution was passed: "That it is expedient that an institution be formed for the consideration of all subjects concerned with architecture, and that a committee be appointed to state its particular objects, and to draw up the rules and regulations." In furtherance of which resolution, the committee then appopinted have prepared the following report for the consideration of a general meeting, to be held as above, on Wednesday, the 19th February, 1834. ...
