Provenance help-art-provenance

Probably the bust exhibited at the RA, 1825, '1024 Bust of the late George Dance, R.A., to be executed in marble'. Soane almost certainly acquired the bust in that year. Rossi's marble version of the bust was desposited at the Royal Academy in 1827 as his Diploma Work (RA 03/1815).
