Curatorial note

This console is enriched (top to bottom) below a thin top fillet-space, with waterleaf, thin wavy fillet line, baluster and acanthus scroll, at the base of which is a bead and wide reel moulding (mostly broken away). The top fillet and waterleaf carries down both sides at the back, and there is a foliate flower in the spandrels between.
