Finished drawing for the ceiling for the back drawing room, 1769; it is not known if this design was executed (1)

The back drawing room was located at the rear on the first storey of the house.

It is not known if this design was executed as there is no known photographic record of the ceiling prior to demolition.

The chimneypiece in this room was executed to a design for which there is no drawing, with volute stiles, enclosed masks in the capitals, a fluted frieze, and a tablet containing an urn surmounted by sphinxes. It survived to be photographed by the LCC in 1936.
