The elevations showing Adam's scheme for Lincoln's Inn includes numerous small windows facilitating the many chambers for the various barristers and benchers. King has noted that it was not customary for Adam to include such a density of windows.

Adam’s scheme for Lincoln’s Inn was not executed, and instead, Sir Robert Taylor’s designs were built in 1774-80. See scheme notes.
