It is interesting to note that the record drawing for this third scheme (Adam volume 38/26) appears originally to have been a duplicate copy of the second scheme. It has been altered on the plan – if not the elevation – to conform to the third scheme. Four areas of the plan have been cut away from the sheet, and replaced with alternative small sheets affixed into their place to alter the design. It would have been very difficult to alter the elevation in this way, and as such, there is some confusion between plan and elevation in this design.
