The drawings within this section are of structural importance. Drawings 35-36 show the hall's plan, as executed with its four central piers and twelve half-piers around the perimeter supporting the central pendentive dome. The laid-out elevations show block rustication decorating the walls, however banded rustication was actually employed. Drawings 37-39 focus on the piers, with varying fluting designs for the pilasters in relief. As executed the piers had triple-fluting on two sides facing in towards the crossing. Drawings 40-41 are designs for the structure of the side-aisle arches, linking the four corner-bays and the shallow side-arms of the crossing. For reasons of structure and aesthetics, Soane continued to experiment with segmental and semi-circular arching. Drawing 40 also experiements with brick spandrels above the arches. In the executed hall semi-circular side-aisle arches were realised surmounted by large fielded panels.
