Adam's drawing room was executed on the ground storey, in accordance with this design, including the doorcases and chimneypiece. The location of the drawing room is shown correctly on Adam's plan (Adam volume 50/75), but neither the executed drawing room, nor these laid out wall elevations correspond with the plan. On the plan the drawing room is shown with three windows on each side, but the executed room - as shown in this drawing - had three windows on one side only.
