Adam's designs for the hall at Wormleybury were executed, with minor alterations. The ceiling, chimneypiece and plasterwork survive in situ. King notes how the implemented design is considerably finer in execution, with the wall-elevations including four grotesque panels rather than the sole panel detailed here. He also notes further minor alterations, including the use of paired engaged columns to either side of the chimneypiece, and the execution of mirrored aedicules for the end walls. However the aedicules are without their niches for containing urns, as shown in the design. King also highlights the survival of a pavement to a simple design, Adam in style, but for which there are no surviving drawings.
