Working drawings - elevations and sections, February-March 1793 (7)

The entrance elevation varies from the preliminary designs (3 and 6) but is close to drawing 15 though the design of the roof varies (for example, three dormers instead of one). The rear elevation is the same as that shown on drawing 16. However, none of the earlier elevations have the basement shown on the drawings catalogued here. On drawing 33 verso the ceiling heights for the wall section measure 8 feet (scullery) 7 feet (mezzanine) and 11 feet (chamber floor) which relates to drawing 20 (ground floor plan) that has a note about 'Mezzanine over Scullery'. Drawings 30 and 31 have a carefully drawn overflow to the left of the middle dormer but the garrets plan (22) does not show, for example, a water tank.

Drawings 30 and 32 are stamped 'IS', that is Soane's initials, as are drawings 18 and 27.
