Variant preliminary designs, September 1792 (6)

Drawings 1-3 (first scheme) show a house of two storeys with a three-bay front with a four-column portico and five-bay back. To the right of the ground floor plan a slightly lighter sepia wash may indicate that the single storey offices already exist. Drawings 4-6 (second scheme) show a house of two storeys with a five-bay front with a four-column, semi-circular portico and a back with a large bow. Except for the new servants hall, the new offices are integrated with the house which gives a greater symmetry.
