Drawing 244 is a very rough illustration of two trees, one pencil and one watercolour, which seem to correspond to the tree on the left of the entrance front shown in drawing 238 (which is also opposite it within the volume).

Drawing 245 shows Soane's garden bridge which is there today, although in a slightly altered form. This can be seen in earlier sketches of the estate 107 (Section 4). The drawings all show a three arch structure with lattice arch on top which has foliage growing all over it. Drawing 243 also shows this bridge under the main drawing.
