Preliminary design and design for a chimneypiece for the ground floor drawing room (now the entrance hall), 1774, possibly executed (2)

This design for a chimneypiece for the ground floor drawing room (now the entrance hall) is the earliest known design for an Apsley interior. Lea notes that the chimneypiece was most likely removed when the room was altered by Benjamin Wyatt (1828-1830).
