The perspectives in this group date from late 1824 when Soane was trying to formulate what he hoped would be the near finished design to be built. The interiors show an array of features: a flatter compartmentalised ceiling which shows the high attic roof was being omitted. The interior Doric columns would be half-fluted, but the windows are now transomed, so light is coming in from the sides at nave and gallery level. What the designs show, SM 54/2/10 especially, is the packed nature of the pews arrangement. The lower set of free seats down the central aisle seem to condense the space, with room for only single file on each side, as the two visitors to the church demonstrate. It is made even fuller by the aisle pews placed at right angles to the nave.

Yet, the correct arrangement is followed, with the pulpit and reading desk opposite each other in front of the box pews, a small chancel area at the end beyond the arch demarcating the space, which is a fixture from the earliest design in 1820 (SM 54/2/8).
