Preliminary designs for the house by Stiff Leadbetter, 1756 (7)

These preliminary designs for the house were made by Stiff Leadbetter when he was commissioned to build the house. The presentation drawings corresponding to these survive and belong to Lord Harcourt. Adam made designs for alterations to this house in 1777, but these were rejected in favour of work by Lancelot 'Capability' Brown.
