Designs for alterations and additions, 1791 (2)

The new work is shown in a red wash so that the right-hand part is to be rebuilt adding a new entrance (with a feintly penciled semicircular porch), drawing room (with large window), hall, stair and water closet to the ground floor and a bedroom and lady's dressing room (with niched segmental corners) to the first floor. The existing left-hand part is to be re-faced and given a large blind window. New chimney-pieces are given to Mr Thornton's dressing room and the bedroom above as well as to the new drawing room.
