Designs for a funerary monument to Sir Nathaniel Curzon, 4th Baronet, c1759-63, as executed (3)

The monument is comprised of a high relief group of figures set against a pyramidal background, depicting Sir Nathaniel Curzon, 4th Baronet (seated), with his wife and two sons, and above a smaller figure which represents a third son who died in infancy. The monument was executed for All Saints’ Church, Kedleston, by Michael Rysbrack in 1763.
