Drawing 263 shows a survey plan of the estate as it was when sold in 1832. The house entrance front drawn below the plan is shown as Soane built it, and trees still disguise the service wing. The conservatory is indicated (one of Soane's later additions to the design) as well as the ruins, garden layout and various neighbouring houses are indicated in the margin surrounding the estate plan.

A rick yard (as inscribed on drawing 263) was an agricultural enclosed space used for storing stacks of corn etc. Soane leased most of the 28 acres he had purchased with Pitzhanger Manor to a neighbouring farmer. It seems likely, however, that the rick yard was still used for agricultural purposes.
